LEPL International Education Center actively continues implementing its new initiative – “My 10 Working Days” – aimed at supporting the professional advancement of its scholarship holders.
The participants of the project met with the Executive Director of the LEPL - International Education Center, Dr. Nunu Mitskevich, and the Center’s staff. During the meeting, the scholarship holders spoke about their work experience gained in Georgia within the framework of the project, as well as their future plans. At the end of the event, they were awarded certificates for their successful participation.
In 2024–2025, twenty scholarship holders who are studying at leading universities abroad joined the Center’s initiative “My 10 Working Days.” With the support of the Center, they gained work experience during their holidays in various state institutions and research centers, including: the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia; the Ministry of Infrastructure; the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development; the Innovation and Technology Agency; the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement; the State Laboratory of Agriculture; the Georgian State Electrosystem; the State Language Department; Ivane Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine; the “Sanamente” Psychorehabilitation Inpatient Clinic; and the Georgian Association for Positive Psychotherapy.
The International Education Center launched this new project in 2024. Within its framework, scholarship holders are given the opportunity, with the mediation and support of the Center, to acquire additional practical experience in Georgia during their holidays in line with their interests and qualifications, working in relevant governmental bodies and scientific-research centers.
The project aims to support the career development of the Center’s scholarship holders and to facilitate their introduction to the labor market, which in turn will promote the return of highly qualified professionals to the country and the strengthening of human capital.
