The International Education Center is now accepting applications for those desiring to continue thei...

Stipend programs for those desiring to continue their studies abroad have been announced on April 24 at the International Education Center (7 Chavchavadze Ave). The event was in attendance by the Center’s acting director Nino Chelidze, the Minister of Education and Science Mikheil Chkhenkeli, the Minister of Culture and Sports Mikheil Giorgadze, representatives from the French, American, and Hungarian embassies, members of the selection commission, and the Center’s grant recipients.

A competition was announced for the following stipend programs:

International Masters Programs - It is the goal of the stipend program to increase the availability of studying in Masters educational programs at institutes of higher education in a foreign country for Georgian citizens in possession of a neutral ID and/or neutral travel document.

International Doctoral Programs - Stemming from demands of the job market for the country’s economic and social development, it is the goal of the program to prepare the necessary, qualified individuals and assist with their integration into the appropriate field/institute. Additionally, for the development of the country’s educational realm, the program will assist with the integration of graduates into the university realm in order to work academically.

Foreign Qualification Enhancement Program - Georgian citizens having a neutral ID and/or travel document employed at a state (financial) institute can acquire financing within the stipend program through a competition and increase their qualifications abroad within a program corresponding to the obligations of the work position held.

International Academic Art Programs - This implies the financing of study for Georgian citizens through a competition in the appropriate Masters and doctoral programs having a declared, prioritized, educational course of study.

The Art Program is conducted by the International Education Center through collaboration with the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Preservation.

All four programs envision the compensation of the necessary expenses of the cost of study and living costs.

Acceptance of e-applications begins on April 25 and will continue for one month.
