Program Overview
Within the framework of the state grant program “Funding Opportunities for Qualification Enhancement Abroad (QE_2025–2026)”, the International Education Center offers funding opportunities for Georgian citizens and holders of a neutral identity card and/or neutral travel document who are employed in state organizations. The program enables participants to improve their qualifications abroad in areas directly related to their official duties.
Program Objectives
The program aims to:
- - Expand access to qualification enhancement programs abroad;
- - Train highly qualified and competent personnel essential for Georgia’s economic and social development;
- - Enhance participants’ theoretical knowledge, practical skills and professional competencies through short-term international programs.
Program Duration and Conditions
- - Qualification enhancement programs are expected to last no less than 5 days and no more than 3 months.
- - Programs are required to be professionally relevant and aligned with the applicant’s job responsibilities.
Scope of Funding
Funding includes full or partial reimbursement of:
- - Program fees;
- - Living expenses in the host country for the duration of the program.
Eligibility Criteria
The competition is open to:
- - Citizens of Georgia (including holders of a neutral identity card and/or neutral travel document)
Applicants are required to:
- - Be employed by a state organization at the time of application;
- - Be applying to participate in a qualification enhancement program abroad relevant to their field of work.
The grant recipient is obliged to:
- - Upon completion of the program, submit a document confirming participation in the relevant qualification enhancement program;
- - Return to Georgia no later than one month after the completion of the program and continue working for at least 12 months at the recommending state organization where they were employed at the time of receiving the grant.
