Program Overview
The Alumni Grants Program (ALG_ 2025) offers graduates of the International Education Center an opportunity to implement professional projects upon their return to Georgia, supporting their integration into the labor market, employment, and career development. Projects submitted should be aligned with the field of study and qualifications the graduate obtained abroad.
Program Objectives
The program aims to:
- - Support graduates in their ongoing professional development;
- - Encourage the application of acquired knowledge to benefit Georgia;
- - Promote sustainable projects that contribute to regional and national development.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible participants are graduates who:
- - Return to Georgia after completing their studies abroad;
- - Fulfill all contractual obligations related to their grant or scholarship;
- - Intend to implement projects that correspond to their field of study and qualifications acquired abroad.
Priority Areas
Competition gives priority to the projects that:
- - Focus on the development of regions in Georgia;
- - Include an international component, such as collaboration with:
- Representatives of the graduate’s host educational institution;
- Other international organizations (e.g., researchers, guest speakers);
- Universities and research institutes;
- Relevant international services;
- - Demonstrate sustainability by ensuring continuation of activities beyond the project’s completion through engagement of partner organizations and stakeholders.
Budget and Funding
- - Total program budget: 300,000 GEL (three hundred thousand Georgian Lari)
- - Maximum requested budget per project:
- 35,000 GEL (thirty-five thousand) for standard projects;
- Up to 50,000 GEL (fifty thousand) in cases of co-financing.
- - Participants may apply for full or partial funding.

Success is measured by:
- - The number of project recipients and beneficiaries aligned with the program’s priority areas;
- - Successful integration of graduates into diverse professional environments;
- - Development and documentation of graduate portfolio projects;
- - Promotion of graduates’ professional skills and human capital within public and professional communities.
